    Enonic 5 Milestone 4 - Content Manager

We just tagged Enonic 5 Milestone 4. Today we had an internal presentation. Next week we will start external demos and proceed with Milestone 5.

    What happened this week?

    • Enonic 5 milestone 4 tagged today. Check it out at Github (expect bugs!). See screenshot below.
    • We managed to remove JCR in M4. We now have a pure Elasticsearch store and search backend. Expect pluggable storage.
    • Rune Forberg has written an interesting blog article about what he learned at Funka2014.
    • Dag Mikkelsen just released an Enonic CMS Harvest plugin developed during his Lab days.
    • Our web project to renew is on track. We have all wireframes done and the design direction agreed on. The new website will be live 2H 2014.

    Useful plugins available at Github

Some BETA plugins have been made available to the public. These are all functioning plugins where core features have been implemented. Some work on stability, error handling and access management is planned - and recommended - before using in production environment. Feel free to use these plugins, or contact if you have any questions and/or feedback.

    • G.E.R.M plugin - A plugin that connects Enonic CMS resources and plugins to a remote git repository.
    • Datarefine plugin - a plugin to refine messy data.
    • Esocial - a facebook login plugin.
